Solid silver heart with natural opal, emerald and amethyst handcrafted pendant on 18” sterling silver belcher.

This silver necklace has been hand made by myself in my Hereford based studio, I reclaimed the silver myself; melted it down, rolled in out and hand cut the heart before soldering onto a 18" silver belch chain and grave set with a dainty opal, emerald and amethyst gemstones. This is a complete handmade solid silver necklace.

Heart pendant: 13mm

Opal is the birthstone for October, and symbolises hope and truth. Emerald is birthstone for May, and symbolises wisdom and love. Amethyst is the birthstone for February, and symbolises peace and intuition.

Opal is a porous stone which mean it should not be exposed to moisture; left in a steamy bath room or submerges in liquids or water as it will absorb moisture and potentially before dull and may even crack as it dries out.
